OOCL Southbound Rate Restoration (RR) South East Asia And The Gulf (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East, Myanmar And The Indian Sub-Continent) – Australia Trade

OOCL would like to advise that in order to maintain a high standard of service to customers, there will be a Rate Restoration of:

  • US$100/20’ and
  • US$200/40’

from the 1st of May 2015, for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight for cargoes from South East Asia, South Asia and the Gulf (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East, Myanmar and the Indian Sub-Continent) to Australia.

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments with the Cargo Gate-in/Receive Date on or after the 1st of May 2015, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment

OOCL Bunker Surcharge Variations (BAF) Australia To/From North East Asia

The regular review of bunker costs has been completed and there are changes to the Bunker Surcharge which are reflected in the table below –

** Note the BAF ex Fremantle and Adelaide will remain unchanged at the level of US$375/20’ and US$750/40’.

The new BAF tariff will be applied based on cargo received dates.

The above adjustment has been made from current level of US$250/20’ and US$500/40’, expiry date 10th April, 2015.

OOCL Asia Europe Trade (Westbound) Far East (Including Japan) To North Europe, The Mediterranean And Black Sea Rate Restoration Program

In order to continue providing quality and sustainable services, we are announcing a Rate Restoration Program in the Asia Europe Trade.

With effect from March 15, freight rate for westbound traffic from Far East (including Japan) to North Europe, the Mediterranean and Black Sea will be increased by:

  • US$850 per TEU.

OOCL Rate Restoration Japan, China, Hong Kong, Korea And Taiwan – Australia Trade

  • US$600/40’ from the 1st of April 2015,

for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight for cargoes from North East Asia (including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan) to ports and points in Australia.  

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments with the Cargo Gate-in/Receive Date on or after the 1st of April 2015, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.

OOCL Alameda Corridor Charge (ACC) – Australia/New Zealand To USA Trade

OOCL would like to advise that the Alameda Corridor Charge has been revised and will be effective from the 29th of January 2015 at below levels:

  • USD23/20’
  • USD46/40’

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments with the cargo received date from the 29th of January 2015, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.
