OOCL Bunker Surcharge Variations (BAF) South East Asia, India Subcontinent, Middle East/ Gulf, East Africa Over Singapore, Port Kelang To Australia

The regular review of bunker costs has been completed and there are changes to the Bunker Surcharge which are reflected in the table below –

Area Direction 20' 40' Effective Date

South East Asia; India Subcontinent;

Middle East/Gulf; East Africa over Singapore/Port Kelang to AUS

Imports US$ 125 US$ 250 29th August, 2015

The new BAF tariff will be applied based on the actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading (effective 1st of August, 2015).

The above adjustment has been made from current levels for Southbound:

  • US$150/20’ and
  • US$300/40’, expiry date 28th August, 2015.

The new BAF tariff will be applied based on the actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading (effective 1st of August, 2015).

The above adjustment has been made from current level of:

  • US$325/20’ and
  • US$650/40’, expiry date 23rd August, 2015.

OOCL Southbound Rate Restoration (RR) South East Asia South Asia And The Gulf (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East, Kyanmar And The Indian Sub-Continent) To Australia

OOCL would like to advise that in order to maintain a high standard of service to customers, there will be a Rate Restoration of:

  • US$200/20’ and
  • US$400/40’

from the 1st of September 2015, for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight for cargoes from South East Asia, South Asia and the Gulf (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East, Myanmar and the Indian Sub-Continent) to Australia.

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments based on the actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading from the 1st of September 2015, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.

OOCL Rate Restoration China, Hong Kong, Korea And Taiwan – Australia Trade

OOCL would like to advise that in order to maintain a high standard of service to customers, there will be a Rate Restoration of:

  • US$300/20’ and
  • US$600/40’

from the 1st of September 2015, for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight for cargoes from North East Asia (including China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan) to ports and points in Australia. 

 

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments based on the actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading from the 1st of September 2015, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.

OOCL Asia Europe Trade ( Westbound ) From Far East (Excluding Japan) To North Europe, The Mediterranean And Black Sea Rate Restoration Program

In order to continue providing quality and sustainable services, we are announcing a Rate Restoration Program in the Asia Europe Trade.

With effect from August 1st, freight rates for westbound traffic from Far East (excluding Japan) to North Europe, the Mediterranean and Black Sea will be increased by US$1050 per TEU rated by “on-board date”.

OOCL Rate Applicability Rule Update Australian Trade ( Except For Australia And New Zealand To/From United States/Canada)

With effect from August 1, 2015, Rate Applicability Rule for cargo movements within Australian Trade ( Except for Australia and New Zealand to/from United States/Canada), will be changed to actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading.

The new rule will be applied to all cargo shipped under a bill of lading of which the actual departure date is showing August 1, 2015, or later.
