Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise its valued clients that a review of the current Bunker Contribution on the Australia New Zealand southbound trade from the UK/North West Continent & and Mediterranean has taken place. The new Bunker Contribution on this trade will be as follows:
- USD 770 per TEU
- USD 1540 per FEU
The first vessels to attract the new Bunker Surcharges are as follows:

ETS Antwerp 1st June, 2013 (or any substitute vessel sailing from Antwerp)

ANL wish to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor has been adjusted, in accordance with the established review procedures. Effective the 1st of June 2013, the Bunker Surcharge (BAF) for SCAN/EUR/MED to/fm ANZ will be as follows:
- BAF USD 734.00 per TEU for General cargo
- RCS Additional (Reefer Consumption Surcharge) USD 110.10 per TEU

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise its valued clients that due to the current market conditions, a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be applied to all cargo moving from the USA ports of Oakland and Los Angeles to all Australian and New Zealand Ports. The increase will be effective from 1st June 2013 (B/L date).
The increase is as follows:
- 20ft container USD 200
- 40ft container USD 400

The Suez Canal Surcharge will increase to:
- USD 35 per 20’
- USD 70 per 40’

Hamburg Sud wishes to advise that, in accordance with our BAF calculation, a decrease in Bunker Fuel prices has exceeded the trigger value. Accordingly, Hamburg Sud will be introducing a reduced BAF of:
- USD285/TEU effective 01 May 2013 for cargo destined to New Zealand.

Ex North Continental ports: New BUC EUR 700 per TEU
Effective for all vessels sailing North Continental ports on or after May 1.
Ex Mediterranean ports: New BUC USD 759 per TEU
Effective for all vessels sailing Mediterranean ports on or after May 1.

Hapag-Lloyd wishes to advise that a revised Bunker Surcharge (BUC) will be effective as from 1st May 2013 for all cargo loading Australia and New Zealand to Europe. The new surcharges will apply to cargo loading at Australian and New Zealand ports on or after the 1st May.
The revised surcharges are:
All cargo to North Continental destinations : usd 820 per TEU
All cargo to Mediterranean destinations : usd 683per TEU
