Mediterranean Shipping Company MSC Southbound Bunker Contribution (BUC) UK/North West Continent & Mediterranean To Australia & New Zealand

Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise its valued clients that a review of the current Bunker Contribution on the Australia New Zealand southbound trade from the UK/North West Continent & and Mediterranean has taken place. The new Bunker Contribution on this trade will be as follows:

  • USD 770 per TEU
  • USD 1540 per FEU

The first vessels to attract the new Bunker Surcharges are as follows:

UK/NORTH WEST CONTINENT

MSC Bettina FS322A 

ETS Antwerp 1st June, 2013 (or any substitute vessel sailing from Antwerp)

 

MEDITERRANEAN

MSC Antwerp FF323A

ETS Valencia 8th June, 2013

ETS La Spezia 11th June, 2013 (or any substitute vessel sailing from Valencia)

 

*The applicable BUC for transshipment cargo will be determined by the shipped on board date on or after June 1, 2013.

Pacific Forum Line PFL – Australia To Fiji Rate Restoration

We received the below announcement from Pacific Forum Line today regarding the rate adjustment for shipments going from Australia to Fiji:

Pacific Forum Line wishes to advise that following a review of operating costs and current rate levels, a northbound general rate restoration will be implemented in June 2013 on our Australia to Fiji service. An increase of:

  • USD100 per 20’ container and
  • USD200 per 40’ container will apply to FCL, General, FAK and reefer cargo.

This will be effective from the Capitaine Tasman voyage 122N, with estimated sailing dates of:

  • Melbourne 5th June
  • Sydney 8th June
  • Brisbane 11th June

Mediterranean Shipping Company MSC Export Bunker Contribution (BUC) Review Ex Australia To China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong And Japan (Wallaby & Panda Services)

Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise Shippers that a review of the current Bunker Contribution (BUC) ex Australia to China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Taiwan has taken place. The new Bunker Contribution on this trade will be as follows:

  • USD $575 per TEU – Dry & Refrigerated units
  • USD $1150 per FEU – Dry & Refrigerated units

Bunker change will take effect on all shipments departing on, or after: 1st June 2013

CMA CGM ANL AANA/ACE Trade Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan And Taiwan To Australia Revised Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)

Reflecting recent decrease in the price of oil at Hong Kong and South Korea, the member lines of AADA wish to advise that in accordance with the established review procedures, the Bunker Surcharge level for shipments from Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to ports in Australia is to be adjusted to:

  • US$575 per TEU and
  • US$1,150 per FEU

Hamburg Sud Australia To North East Asia (Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong And Taiwan) Trade Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) Update

We wish to advise that, a review of bunker prices at Hong Kong and South Korea has caused the current Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) to trigger. From the 1st June 2013, the Bunker Adjustment Factor will be adjusted from:

  • US$600/TEU and US$1200/FEU to
  • US$575/TEU and US$1150/FEU on all cargo

from Australia to North East Asia, covering Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The effective BOL dated on or after 1st June 2013. Thank you for your support of our services. ANL wish to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor has been adjusted, in accordance with the established review procedures. Effective the 1st of June 2013, the Bunker Surcharge (BAF) for SCAN/EUR/MED to/fm ANZ will be as follows:

  • BAF USD 734.00 per TEU for General cargo
  • RCS Additional (Reefer Consumption Surcharge) USD 110.10 per TEU

(Morristown, New Jersey)…Effective June 15th, 2013, the Emergency Fuel Adjustment Factor (EFAF) for all cargo moving from the United States and Canada to Australia and New Zealand remains unchanged at:

  • $960/20’ and $1,920/40’

Mediterranean Shipping Company MSC Import General Rate Increase Ex USA West Coast To Australia And New Zealand

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise its valued clients that due to the current market conditions, a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be applied to all cargo moving from the USA ports of Oakland and Los Angeles to all Australian and New Zealand Ports. The increase will be effective from 1st June 2013 (B/L date).

The increase is as follows:

  • 20ft container USD 200
  • 40ft container USD 400
